Raya Restaurant Taormina” is named after the former owner of this building, Angelina Von Geleng, married in Raia, heir of the famous Otto Von Geleng, one of the most important discoverers of Taormina. Thanks to her, today, we have the opportunity to dine in a garden that was an inspiration for the paintings of our Prussian painter, now exhibited in the most important museums in the world.
Our cuisine uses local raw materials, striving to preserve their freshness and flavors. The traditional recipes, revisited in a modern key, aim to be the link between past and present, to offer you a magnificent taste experience.
